Spire is een nieuwe generatie schoen voor, snel wandelen. Het neemt oplossingen over die deel uitmaken van La Sportiva 's berg-DNA, waarbij technologieën en concepten uit de categorieën Mountain Running en Mountain worden gecombineerd om een veelzijdige, waterdichte en 360° ademende schoen te creëren dankzij de nieuwe GORE-TEX® SURROUND® -technologie: het exclusieve membraan dat 360° ademend vermogen garandeert dankzij het bredere beluchtingsoppervlak dat bestaat uit het bovenwerk, het voetbed en de EVA-TUSSENZOOL met ventilatieopeningen aan de zijkant in TPU. De beluchtingskanalen die zichtbaar zijn langs het profiel van de tussenzool, worden beschermd door een extreem resistent Nylon mono-net, om te voorkomen dat stenen en andere onzuiverheden in de ventilatie-uitlaten terechtkomen. De mid cut bovendelen maken gebruik van de Nano-Cells 2.0™ structuur ; super ademende cellen die werken in synergie met de GORE-TEX® SURROUND® membraan te bieden ongekende niveaus van ademend vermogen. Het onderste deel van de laars is uitgerust met het Stability Control System™, een stabiliserend controlesysteem dat de ventilatieopeningen integreert met de GORE-TEX® SURROUND® -technologie. De Vibram XS Trek-buitenzool biedt uitstekende grip op hard, zacht en modderig terrein. Allround ademend vermogen en comfort zijn gegarandeerd.

Spire is a new generation shoe for, fast hiking. It adopts solutions that are part of La Sportiva’s mountain DNA combining technologies and concept derived from the Mountain Running and Mountain categories to create a versatile, waterproof and 360° breathable shoe thanks to the new GORE-TEX® SURROUND® technology: the exclusive membrane that guarantees 360° breathability thanks to the wider aeration surface that comprises the uppers, footbed and EVA midsole with side ventilation outlets in TPU.

The aeration channels visible along the profile of the midsole, are protected by an extremely resistant Nylon mono net, to prevent stones and other impurities from entering the ventilation outlets. The mid cut uppers use the Nano-Cells 2.0™ structure ; super breathable cells that work in synergy with the GORE-TEX® SURROUND® membrane to provide unprecedented levels of breathability. The lower part of the boot incorporates the Stability control System™, a stabilizing control system that integrates the ventilation outlets with the GORE-TEX® SURROUND® technology. The Vibram XS Trek outsole provides excellent grip on hard, soft and muddy terrain. All round breathability and comfort is guaranteed.
